How do I add the widget to my Home Screen?

iOS:

  1. Long-press an empty area of your Home Screen
  2. Tap the + button in the top-left corner
  3. Search for Nice Words
  4. Pick a widget size (small, medium, or large)
  5. Tap Add Widget

Android:

  1. Long-press an empty area of your Home Screen
  2. Tap Widgets in the menu
  3. Find Nice Words in the list
  4. Long-press the widget and drag it onto your Home Screen

How do I turn off ads?

Go to Profile → Manage Subscription and choose a plan. Cancel anytime from your device’s subscription settings.

How do I set up daily reminders?

Profile → Notifications — pick the affirmation category, choose a time, save.

How do I create my own affirmations?

Open the Affirmations Library tab, tap a category (or create a new one), then + Add affirmation.

The Shake-for-Affirmation feature isn’t working — what should I check?

Go to Profile → Settings → Shake for affirmation and make sure the toggle is on. You also need at least one affirmation saved. Make sure your device isn’t in Low Power Mode, which can dampen shake detection.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → My Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your data from our servers and cannot be undone.

How do I change the app language?

Profile → App Language — choose from English, German, Spanish, French, Polish, or Portuguese (Brazil).

I have a subscription question — refunds, cancellations, billing
